Wharfedale Pro K6010 series models use premium Baltic birch plywood construction.

Not only does this create a solid and durable cabinet, but it also contributes to the overall sound and character.

Wharfedale Pro K6010 Series models are also covered in our most durable and hard wearing Rhino Rock paint finish. This ensures that a K6000 will always look as good as the day you unboxed it.

As with all Wharfedale Pro PA systems, years of expertise is behind a loudspeaker built to last, with thanks to our high standards of quality control.

The K6000 series are coated in the highest quality Rhino Rock paint finish – a chip resistant texture with a professional, discrete aesthetic whilst being prepared for the rigours of life on the road.

HF COMPRESSION DRIVER

The HF compression drivers for the K6000 series have a 1.75” voice coil and use a polyethylene (pe) diaphragm for maximum vocal intelligibility in enclosed spaces.

This HF compression driver is coupled to a 70° x 70° waveguide for smooth dispersion regardless of horizontal or vertical placement.

LF VOICE COILS

A critical element is the size of the voice coil and K6000 series loudspeakers boast some of the largest voice coils in their category.

Wharfedale Pro K6010 has a 2.5″ voice coil while the rest of the lineup (Wharfedale Pro K6012 K6012 and K6015) feature 3″ voice coils.

These larger than usual voice coils allow for the K6000 series to handle high power situations easily.

REAR PORTING

Carefully tuned rear ports allow the K6000 series to deliver smooth mid-low frequencies that can usually only be heard from loudspeakers with a larger cabinet size.

When positioned either near a wall or in a corner of a room, these ports help to enhance the lower frequencies, even at low volume.
